Kristi Anderson
  25 F 32 18 15 33 30
As a young girl growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Kristi always dreamed of playing ice hockey but Mom just wouldn't buy in. Instead she was laced into a pair of figure skates at age 2 and continued to skate figure eights until 13. Long after long having given up her dreams of playing, at the young age of 33, she saw a sign at a sporting goods store for an all Women’s team. In Kristi’s words “she couldn’t make the call fast enough”. The rest is history. Kristi quickly advanced passed the beginner squad and became a standout power forward and captain of the Fox Valley Falcons A/B team. Hockey has since become a way of life for the Anderson family. Kristi loves watching her daughter play and her husband doesn’t seem to mind all the driving. If not playing hockey, Kristi can be found watching it on TV, dirt biking in the U.P. With her husband, playing other sports and working as a scheduler at a medical systems company. Kristi is very excited to be playing with Team Glacier and looks forward to working hard and having lots of fun with her new TG teammates.

Caroline Anthony
  17 F 35 15 12 27 5.5
Caroline joins Team Glacier after her move here from Denver in September of 2003. Caroline grew up in the home of hockey, Canada. As a youngster in Cornwall, Ontario, Caroline took to the ice at the age of 8 and played competitively through high school. Refusing to leave the ice, Caroline continued to play recreationally all the way through university in Ottawa and for four more years in Toronto where she worked after earning her law degree. In 2002 she moved to Denver and played for the Denver Bandits Women's team. A few things that Caroline misses most from back home: family, friends, poutine, Tim Horton's and Hockey Night in Canada! Caroline works in Qwest Communication's Legal Department and enjoys spending any free time she has with her husband who is studying at the University of Chicago.

Marie Calahan
  65 F 26 1 8 9 2
Marie Calahan   Marie is a tenacious speed forward, usually the first to the puck and the last to tire. A former college basketball player, Marie began her hockey career eight years ago with several TG teammates on the Chicago Ice. She is inspired and encouraged in the sport by both of her hockey-playing children: 15-year old Quinn, a AAA midget minor, and 12-year old Adelle, the only girl on her peewee gold boys' team. An elementary and college level teacher/instructor, Marie is the former drummer of Chicago's own Skapone, a local ska band, and plays on coed ice and roller hockey teams.

Brenda Culver
  9 F 15/DL 13 6 19 2
Brenda Culver   Originally from Chicago's south suburbs, Brenda started playing hockey as a kid on frozen ponds in the winter with her cousins. As a high school standout athlete, her competitive nature eventually led her to organized ice hockey in 1995. Also an avid skydiver, our daredevil forward became a world record holder, participating in the world's largest all women's formation. The event was called Jump for the Cause and raised a half million dollars for breast cancer awareness. She also enjoys flying with her husband, Robbie, in their airplane. Brenda can be found in her spare time playing ball with her dog Quincy, feeding/watching wild birds in her yard and enjoying her favorite band, Primus. Brenda is a Dental Hygienist at Great lakes Naval Base in the northern suburbs.

Jet Hall
  19 F 29 13 9 22 8.5
Jet Hall   Jet has competed in team sports since the age of 5. She first learned how to skate in the early 80's (yknow, on wheels) at the local roller rink where she won many a free soda from the snack bar in speed skating competitions. Jet was a standout field hockey and softball player in high school and went on to play varsity field hockey for Northwestern University. As a huge ice hockey fan in her impressionable days, she always dreamed of combining her skills and hitting the ice herself. After watching the US women's team take gold in 1998 olympics, she realized that women must be playing somewhere, so she called a local rink. In 1999 she met coaches Eric and Chad Schneider who patiently guided her through the process of learning how to play the sport. Jet is an original member of Team Glacier. She is thrilled to be skating for Team Glacier and for hockey mentor, Eric Schneider. Jet lives in Chicago and owns a film/video production company.

Jen Heppel
  18 D 23 2 6 8 7.5
Jen Heppel   Jen's hockey career started way back in 1986 where, as a freshman at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, she played four years on the varsity squad then one year on the Boston University's club team. After college, her career took the front seat and hockey got left behind until 2001 when she resurfaced and played for Team Glacier's inaugural season, then called Team Complete. As an Associate Commissioner for the Big Ten Conference, Jen is pretty busy during hockey season with travel for both football and men's basketball. When not at an ice rink or with the bigwigs of the Big Ten, Jen spends her time with the two most perfect dogs in the world, Julius and Laverne, and her pals from TG.

AJ is no stranger to ice hockey. Starting as a wee-tyke on the backyard rink she played in boy's leagues in Zion, IL until a family move took them to Michigan's Upper Peninsula at age 13. Once settled in the small town of Laurium, she played on boys teams until she joined the girls U19 Keweenaw Wings in Houghton. From there she served as team president and captain of the Michigan Tech Women's team while earning a computer science degree in December 2001. A key leader in Team Glacier's 2003 State Championship run, AJ is planning to be off her crutches soon so she can return to the ice and help the team in 2004. A deeply committed team player, AJ hasn't missed a game this season and has become an integral voice on the Team Glacier bench. She often spends time with her family of 14, refereeing ice hockey, or playing golf, softball, racquetball, and fishing.

Monette McKinney
  4 D 25 2 3 5 6.5
Monette McKinney   Monette's been on skates since she was four years old, but didn't start playing hockey until she was 24. Like many other Team Glacier players, once she tried ice hockey, she was hooked. Today, she's not only a key defender on Team Glacier, but also an ice hockey referee and schools one of our forwards in the intricacies of the perfect game of racquetball. In her spare time, Monette enjoys watching her fiance's band, Bad Monkey, play live shows, hanging out at her condo with the electronic dart machine, and chilling with the TG girls. She's also relieved to say that she can still get up in the morning for her engineering job at Lucent Technologies after late weeknight practices 35 miles from home.

Cami Schoop
  44 F 37 10 18 28 27.5
Cami Schoop   Cami's early hockey experience mirrors that of many other Team Glacier members. As a native of Northwest Indiana, an area without ice rinks, she learned the game on frozen ponds and summertime tennis courts. After a period in the early 90's playing competitive women's and co-ed ice hockey, Cami took time off to pursue a college degree. Since then, she's gotten married, bought a house and works as a nuclear medicine technologist. Now back on the ice in her second season with Team Glacier, Cami spends her free time enjoying summer waterskiing and fishing with her husband.
