Team Glacier is a premier women's hockey team located near Chicago, IL. Looking forward to competing in its 8th season, the team has earned the Illinois A State Championship for five consecutive seasons from 2003-2008. The squad finished 1st at the C level Central District Regionals in 2006 and received second place honors at the B level in 2003 and 2004. In 2005, Team Glacier represented the Central District in the B division at the U.S. National Championships in Green Bay, WI. In 2006, Team Glacier represented the Central District in the C division at Nationals in Buffalo, NY, making it as far as the quarterfinals. Team Glacier operates under a balanced philosophy that emphasizes competitive goals, individual player and team development and enjoyment of game. Team Glacier is committed to the development of women's hockey in Illinois and to promoting a level of excellence that will keep Illinois women's hockey on the map at the national level. For the upcoming 2008-2009 season we will be holding open skates for player evaluations on Saturdays September 13 and 27 at 6:35PM at the the Northbrook Sports Center at 1730 Pfingsten Road in Northbrook, IL (847-291-2993).
